Why do you charge for Discovery?
Because Discovery is the foundation of every project. We analyze your data, map technical feasibility, and build an ROI model. This is real work by engineers — not a sales pitch. Discovery ensures your budget is accurate, your timeline is realistic, and your ROI is validated before you invest in a Pilot or Implementation. In the same way as you dont build a house without technical specification and design in the same way we can't build a software for you without technical spec for which we also do the discovery.
Are you a consulting firm?
No. LunarTech is not a traditional consulting firm. We don’t just deliver slide decks or strategy reports. We are an AI & Data Science Lab + Solution Provider. That means we design, build, and deploy production-ready AI, ML, and cloud products from scratch. Where consultants advise, we engineer. Where outsourcers rent bodies, we deliver IP and innovation. Where hyperscalers lock you in, we remain vendor-agnostic.If you need real ROI-driven AI systems — not just PowerPoints — then we’re the right partner.
What exactly is a Proof of Concept (POC)?
A POC is a pilot project that demonstrates feasibility and validates ROI on a smaller scale before committing to full implementation. It lowers risk, builds confidence, and helps secure buy-in from stakeholders.
What happens after the Discovery phase?
We deliver a detailed roadmap, technical scope, ROI model, and proposal for the Pilot. You can move forward with us, or use the roadmap internally — you always leave Discovery with actionable value.
How long does a project take?
Every project is unique, but here are typical ranges:
• Discovery Sprint: 2–4 weeks
• Pilot / Proof of Concept (POC): 8–12 weeks
• Enterprise Implementation: 6–12 months (depending on scale)
• Managed Services: Ongoing, usually monthly or annual retainers
We always provide the best minimum estimate after your first consultation — never guesses before we understand the technical scope.
How do you price your services?
We use a stage-based model:
• Discovery (paid, not free)
• Pilot (fixed or milestone-based)
• Implementation (larger projects, sometimes multi-year)
• Managed Services (retainer)
Our pricing is typically ~70% of Big Four consulting rates while delivering 100% of the engineering.
